I’ve found increased worker engagement. You can find mine here on YouTube. Most of all, hazards are always on a construction site. I started the Tool Box Talk / Full Site Safety Meeting with a site wide evacuation drill. 165 trades and laborers evacuated a 6 story low rise condominium site in under 5 minutes. The day I picked to conducted this on, Day of Mourning, April 28. As a result, another 100 invited guest were in attendance. Most of all what made me particularly happy was that 6 Occupational Safety Officers from WorkSafe BC attended as well. It was a Tool Box Talk I’m sure none will forget.
